Misty and Robert's Wedding

After photographing Misty's Bridal Portraits we couldn't wait to share her special day with her and Robert! Misty and Robert had their wedding and reception at the Fairview Baptist Church in Greer. It was an emotional day for all. Before the ceremony we were able to get Misty and Robert on the opposite sides of a door and catch a very touching moment between them. At the start of the ceremony Robert lit a candle to honor his late father. Misty was given away by her father and brother. After a beautiful ceremony, Misty and Robert had fun taking family photos and then went to their reception where they had a gorgeous layout including an ice sculpture of the Eiffel Tower. Before Misty and Robert left for their honeymoon we stole them away once again for some photos. Misty and Roberts videographer is also a talented piano player, during our shoot he started to playing. They stood on the stage and had a beautiful first dance that we had the honor of photographing. What a beautiful moment! Before Misty and Robert were able to leave for their honeymoon, they had to let Dana out of the Limo! She decided to jump in and photograph a quiet moment between the two of them!

40s, Fit and Fabulous

I had the honor of photographing the 40s, Fit and Fabulous Pageant at the Wyche Pavilion behind the Peace Center in Downtown Greenville. Zsa Zsa Nield and Debi Beelow put on the pageant to benefit the Upstate Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Greg Plitt from Terminator Salvation was the Master of Ceremonies . I am glad I was able to contribute my services to fight breast cancer once again. (Last year I helped with the Trash the Dress benefit.)

Katie and Drew

After shooting then engagement photos for this fun couple, we knew that the wedding was going to be beautiful and fun! The days festivities took place at the Wilhite House in Anderson, South Carolina. A beautiful location to say the least. We have a team of at least two photographers at every wedding so we can shoot the bride and groom getting ready seperately. It was a fun challenge to make sure that the Katie and Drew didn't see each other before the ceremony as we took their pictures at various locations on the grounds. The outdoor ceremony was gorgeous with lanterns hanging from the trees and the many smiling faces of Katie and Drews family and friends. As the couple was introduced Drew surprised Katie by spinning her! Everyone laughed and Katie had one of the biggest smiles I have ever seen on her face! The reception was held outdoors under a pavillion draped in white flowers. The buffet and chocolate fountain were a huge hit with all the guests. After the toasts, garter toss and bouquet toss, the bride and groom decided to karaoke! They brought down the house! Katie and Drew were wisked away to begin their lives together in the Whilhite Houses own Vintage Cadillac! What a way to start their happily ever after!

Jaclyn and Branson's Wedding

Jacklyn and Branson were married at the Disciples United Methodist Church. It was a little bit of a rainy day, but rain on your wedding day is a sign of good fortune to come. It was such a beautiful ceremony and one of the most unique we have ever had the honor of photographing. For starters one of the bridesmaids was Jaclyn and Branson's dog! Kiva did so well during the ceremony and posed for pictures beautifully. It was also unique in that Jaclyn's father didn't only walk her down the aisle, he also was the minister who officiated the ceremony. It was a gorgeous and tearful ceremony. After the group shots we all headed over to the Marriott where they danced and had a great time. We wish Jaclyn and Branson lots of love and happiness in the future.
