The Eyes Have It

Train tracks and fields are today's backdrops. Melody and Samantha are gorgeous ladies who wanted to expand their portfolios. The day we decided to meet for the shoot, I passed a field of yellow weeds. It was wonderful. I knew I'd be bringing them back here for some shots. Melody

Samantha

Not to far from the field were some rail road tracks. We played on them for a while. I have far too many great shots than I can post here.

I hope I get a chance to shoot these two again. They were beautiful and great to work with. They got some really perfect shots!

Model Shootout

A local photographer organized a "Model Shootout". Models and photographers gather together for mutual benefit. We get to take shots so that the photographer can show off their skills. The models get copies of the shots to show off their talents as well. A win-win for all. We had several models and at least six photographers show up.

Last shot of the shoot, we were losing the light. I have so many great shots from this day!

Lynch Wedding

Cherish and Peter Lynch were married today. It was a small wedding at a Bible Baptist Church in Simpsonville, but I was in for a treat. Between ceremony and the reception, the couple wanted to go to the local lake for photos.

I followed the couple and wedding party and captured some fun in the sun shots. The sun was relentless.

It was so bright and hot, we couldn't last long until we had to rush to the reception to continue the festivities.

Melissa and Joshua

Melissa asked me to photograph her wedding only a week and a half before the date! It was held at the Garden House Bed and Breakfast in Simpsonville, SC. A gorgeous bed and breakfast.

I can't get over how perfect the gardens were. This small wedding is one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever photographed. Melissa's children were beautiful too.
What a shot this was! Beautiful!

Kelly Hood Wedding

Kelly Hood had a big wedding today!! The tomboy had a beautiful elegant wedding today. Right up to the point when she left the reception on the back of a Harley Davidson Motorcycle...that's our Kelly!
What a wonderful wedding.

Spiegel Farms is a wedding venue in Campobello. Horse drawn carriages and beautiful acreage make it a wedding paradise.

David and Hyesun Wedding

Davis and Hyesun got married today! Their plans were heavely modified at the last moment. The church lost it's AC unit at the last minute and the wedding was held in the Family Life Center (Gym). It was amazing how great the place looked in such a short time.

Guardian from on high.

I got to do some aerial photography today! Guardian Building Products World Headquarters wanted a shot of their location. What made this particularly difficult was how close it was to GSP, (Greenville Spartanburg International Airport). We had to ask control for special permission to orbit the building so close to an active runway. Air Traffic Control was in a good mood. And we were between scheduled airline flights! I got the shots and loved the ride. I learned to fly when I was 17.

I'll crop it down later. The red buildings belong to a pet boarding company. (Does red calm dogs down?)
Landing time!

Kelly Smith Bridal Photos

Kelly Smith is getting married at Spiegel Farms. Kelly is a tomboy, but it is hard to tell. All of her friends are in shock that she is having such a graceful, beautiful wedding.
Spiegal Farms is a HUGE wedding venue, and it has MANY beautiful places to photograph on its acres of land. Our Bridal shoot lasted 5 hours. Yes, FIVE! I didn't mind, it was all so beautiful!!!
Spiegel Farms is a beautiful place!
