It's always fun to photograph weddings downtown. Karen and Victor were married at the John Wesley United Methodist Church and their reception was just a short walk at the Westin Poinsett Hotel in the heart of downtown. We started off at the Poinsett getting fun shots of the girls and the guys getting ready in their seperate rooms. Karen donated $50 to the Poinsetts favorite charity and we were able to get roof access for her and her wedding party. We took some amazing shots before the ceremony on top of the Hotel with Greenville as a backdrop. After a quick jaunt down Court Street it was time to get married! The ceremony was lovely. Family shots were taken after the ceremony. Then the wedding party stopped traffic on their way to the reception at the Poinsett! Karen and Victor wanted a slide show of the festivities thus far played at the reception, so we set up our TV and ran a slide show of the photos we had taken up to that point! It was fun to watch the guests reactions when they saw the way the entire day had unfolded! After dinner, dancing and cake, we stole the Bride and Groom away for a romantic shoot just the two of them in front of the Poinsett Hotel. Such a beautiful view for such a beautiful couple.
