Jennifer Sams Model Shoot - The Field Part II

I saw this field everyday on the way to take my daughter to daycare. It kept calling to me. Finally, I decided to call three of my models to see if I could grab one for 20minutes and get some shots.

Two models responded and Jennifer was the second one to arrive.
Touch of Grace Photography mainly does wedding and portrait photography, but I love to do model shoots too.

Wonderful!

Southern Dance Connection Recital 2008

Southern Dance Connection's recital was wonderful this year. Over 700 photos were taken. I brought in my studio lights for a better lit stage this year.
Every year it gets better and bigger.
Lindsay shows that she is not just all talk!
Please don't leap off the stage!

Katie and TJ Engagement Shoot

Katie and TJ had their Engagement photo session. They will be married on September 6th, 2008.

We enjoyed the warm day and walked all over Greenville's West End and Reedy River areas.

Katie's blue eyes matched TJ's shirt perfectly! What a cute couple.
You will see them again in a few months, stay tuned!

Trash the Dress 2008

The Second Annual Trash Your Wedding Dress Event in Greenville SC.
The event is put on to promote the awareness of the need for early detection of breast and cervical cancer.

There were three photographers taking pictures throughout the event; Touch of Grace Photography Storybook Day and Photography by Dennis and Yvette. Unforgettable Wedding Video capture the entire day on video. It was quite an exciting time for eveyone involved.

After getting dressed in a room donated by the Hyatt, the girls enjoyed wedding cake donated by Holly's Cakes.

Next it was outside for pictures at the fountain.

Then DL Limo picked the girls up and took eveyone to the Greenville Drive ball park. There the girls handed out brochures from the Cancer Society and went onto the field where cancer survivor Cynthia Phillips gave a quick talk to the crowd. Then it was back up in the stands for more pictures and a little trashing. From the ball field the limo took the girls back downtown for pictures in the park and on Main Street. Believe me, we created quite a scene.

The Hyatt fountains were really a site to see!

Amy Armstrong's Bridal Shoot

Amy got into her dress and we went over to her father's property for some bridal photos.
She has lived here most of her life and loves this place.
The barn was built around 1909. It made a wonderful backdrop.
I love it when I can do portraits with beautiful backdrops that have added meaning to the bride. This is her home and you can't get more meaningful than that. Wedding photography can be so very meaningful and expressive.
When I get to be a part of the union of two souls, I learn the history and story of the family. This allows me to tell a better story in my photography.

Krista Davis Model Shoot

Krista Davis, a beautiful girl, stopped by the studio for a few shots today. We did a few in studio but we really wanted to go have some fun outside. She is just getting into the modeling game and is off to a great start...
I have access to a 1909 era barn, 10 acres of property and lots of tractors. Yes, this is my mom's wedding dress from 1959!

I love the way they turned out!

We travelled to "Our Lady of Lourdes" Catholic Church in Greenwood, SC. Angie and Bryant had a picture perfect day. I love my work!

Before the wedding, mother and daughter are close...

The groom and groomsmen are ready to go...

Quite a large group. I brought my studio lights to get this shot!

The groomsmen and groom jumping for joy...

The church was spectacular and the reception next to the lake was beautiful.

I created this video for you all to see!

Office Depot

Office Depot called me and asked if I would photograph their Grand Opening in Greer. It was a pretty big deal. The weather didn't want to cooperate, but it was still very nice. Lots of food!
Greer Mayor Rick Danner and the President and CEO of the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce Caroline Robertson were some of the few on hand.
Senator Jim DeMint was invited but was a no show.
